FAQ's:
How do I prepare for class?
In preparation for a FIT 4 MOMS class you will want to bring light
weights (3-5lbs), a yoga mat, water bottle, and sunscreen. If your
child is attending class with you, be sure to have water, sunscreen, bug
spray and perhaps a change of clothes.
What if I don't have children?
If you do not have children, you should still come to sweat it out with us. We have several "non-moms" who attend regularly and some men who occasionally show up.
What if I am not at the same level of fitness as most?
No matter what your level of fitness, your trainer will show modified versions of high intensity or difficult exercises.
What if there is inclement weather?
If
the weather does not want to cooperate with our outdoor workouts, it is at the discretion of the trainer to cancel class or hold class under a pavilion at the park. Typically classes are NOT canceled.
How do I find out if a class has been canceled or relocated?
You can always email or call Sheila directly or visit our website to get updated information on class
schedules, race information and Mother Runners Running Group
information.
Do you offer other services than group sessions?
FIT 4 MOMS has Certified Personal Trainers to help you reach your
personal fitness goals. FIT 4 MOMS also has an affiliate running
organization, Mother Runners, where you can meet other runners for early
morning fun runs in your neighborhood.
What if I can't make it to a class due to illness or otherwise?
FIT 4 MOMS is designed by moms, for moms. We understand that 'life
happens'. You have the freedom of using your 12 class pass at any of our
locations and times; and you have 3 months to use it!
What do I owe if I bring my child?
If there is a child-care supervisor on-site, your fee is $2 per child
per class. You may purchase a pass with any dollar amount so that you
do not need to bring cash to class each day. You will pay the trainer,
not the child-care supervisor. They are paid directly through FIT 4
MOMS. If there is no child-care supervisor on-site that day, you do not
pay.
How do I sign up?
There are
options in registering for the FIT 4 MOMS program. Your first class is on us! You may simply show
up to a class with your wts and mat and we'll take care of the rest. Once you decide that F4M is the right exercise program for you, you can purchase a 'drop-in' pass for $15 or purchase the 12 class package by check. You may also visit the Schedule & Fees page on our
website and pay through PayPal for a nominal fee.
