Collin Danielson is earning a degree in Elementary Education at Marymount University. He is a native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan
area, having grown up in Bethesda, Maryland.
He has worked with elementary and middle school aged children for the
past seven years. After graduating from
Marymount he plans to get his masters in Athletic Administration.
Coach Danielson is one of
the newest members of the FIT4KIDZ team and is extremely excited to take on
this role as a FIT4KIDZ Coach. He enjoys
working out and playing various competitive sports. In addition, he enjoys promoting a healthy
lifestyle to children.
Coach Danielson has worked
at the McLean School of Maryland Summer Program since 2006. He has worked with students who have Learning
Disabilities and Autism. He has helped
with instruction in the core subjects: mathematics, writing, and reading. Coach Danielson administered exciting “hands
on” recreational activities in the afternoon at the McLean School of Maryland
Summer Program. In addition, he has
coached several middle school teams as well.
Coach Danielson is looking
forward to continuing his education at Marymount University. He plans to work in the area and help
students in the classroom become more active learners.
