Page graduated from the University of Tennessee where she
earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology.
She then went on to receive a degree to practice Occupational
Therapy. After moving to the DC
metropolitan area, Page practiced occupational therapy at National
Rehabilitation Hospital where she specialized in treating spinal cord injury
patients. While at National Rehabilitation Hospital, Page directed an injury
prevention program for children (“Think First” – www.thinkfirst.org) in
District of Columbia public schools. Speaking and teaching to children of all
ages on injury prevention and overall healthy choices. Page eventually pursued
her Masters in Business Administration and continued her work in the medical
field.
After giving birth to two boys, Page chose to stay at home
and focus on raising a family.
Throughout this time, Page continued to stay active in fitness and
teaching group exercise classes at local hospitals. Page is ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified as a Group Fitness Instructor. She has run several marathons, half-marathons
and biathlons. Page has a passion for
leadership, fitness and educating adults and children about healthy lifestyles. She is excited to share this passion with
Fit4Moms/ Fit4Kidz.
